22 Nov Strengthening Your Business Continuity Game Plan in Times of Uncertainty with SAP Business One

Attended to by Accounting Managers and Chief Financial Officers, the first SAP webinar was held last July 28, 2020, via Zoom Meeting Room. The webinar was entitled, “Strengthening Your Business Continuity Game Plan in Times of Uncertainty with SAP Business One”, which intended to share to the participants about the ways on how they will identify business risks for different catastrophic business disruptions, develop a long-term strategy for distributed access to SAP Business One, and break the stigma of cyber risks from the internet exposure by getting new learnings on different secured solutions to cater the needs for remote work for their business enterprise.

The webinar was spearheaded by the speakers Mr. Remigio Lawag, SAP Technical Department Head from the Direc Business Technologies, Inc., and Mr. Edward Riviello, Business Development Manager from the SAP Philippines; they discussed the topics “Impact of The Crisis On SME’s Operations”, “Be Prepared: An Overview of Disaster Risk Plan and Business Continuity Plan”, “Be Disaster Ready: Determining How SAP Can Help Businesses Resume Operations”, and “Pitchtech: An Overview of SAP Business One High Availability”.

Mr. Lawag pointed out how this COVID-19 pandemic crisis has impacted the business operations worldwide and identified how SMEs would resume their business despite the pandemic. He also provided the significance of a Disaster Recovery Plan and Business Continuity Plan to give an exact resolution for their business and differentiate Risk Management Emergency Response to Business Continuity in determining their next steps businesses to take to formulate an effective DRP plan. Furthermore, Mr. Riviello sheds light on how companies can use the leading digital solutions to manage their business in operating during these times.

Moreover, the webinar provided how to maintain business continuity in these challenging times by implementing the SAP B1 On Cloud ERP solution to be equipped with the tools they need to succeed in today’s changing period.
