The SAP Business One Product Consultant is responsible for driving ERP sales and solution consulting for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This role focuses on delivering integrated business management solutions using SAP Business One, one of the leading ERP systems for growing businesses.
The Product Consultant serves as a trusted advisor, helping organizations improve efficiency through ERP implementation and digital transformation. You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead engagement and needs analysis to product demonstrations, proposal development, closing, and post-sales support.
This role is ideal for fresh graduates and entry-level professionals looking to build a career in ERP consulting, SaaS sales, and business technology solutions.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- ERP Sales and Client Engagement:
- Convert qualified leads into sales opportunities for SAP Business One ERP solutions
- Conduct discovery sessions to assess client workflows, operational challenges, and system requirements
- Deliver product demos and presentations tailored to SME business needs
- Manage the end-to-end sales process (proposal, negotiation, closing, and follow-through)
- Solution Consulting and Product Expertise:
- Develop in-depth knowledge of SAP Business One modules (Finance, Sales, Inventory, Purchasing, Reporting)
- Translate client requirements into customized ERP solutions and value propositions
- Collaborate with implementation and technical teams to ensure solution feasibility
- Provide consultative insights to improve business processes, reporting, and decision-making
- Market Research and Industry Insights:
- Stay updated on ERP trends, SME market needs, and digital transformation initiatives
- Monitor competitor ERP solutions and identify differentiators of SAP Business One
- Identify opportunities across industries such as distribution, retail, manufacturing, and services
- Sales Targets & Strategy Development
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and revenue targets
- Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to different industries and company sizes
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and solution presentations aligned with client needs
- Networking & Partnerships
- Participate in business events, trade shows, and ERP-related forums
- Build relationships with business owners, executives, and decision-makers
- Collaborate with internal teams to enhance solution delivery and customer satisfaction
- Post-Sales Support & Client Success
- Ensure smooth handover to implementation teams
- Provide post-sales follow-up and client support
- Maintain strong communication with stakeholders to ensure successful ERP adoption
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Accounting, Marketing, or related field
- Open to fresh graduates
Preferred Experience (Advantage but Not Required)
- Experience in ERP systems, SAP Business One, IT sales, SaaS, or accounting software
- Exposure to business process analysis or enterprise systems
